Our Story
Accountsly was founded in 2014 by Siddharth Arora, following his experience with a Big 4 firm. While working with businesses, Siddharth saw a recurring problem: businesses often had accounting systems that lacked proper processes, consistent standards, and clean, reliable financial information.
The result was that business owners could have accounts prepared without necessarily having numbers they could confidently use to understand and run their businesses.
Accountsly was built to change that.
Since then, we have worked with 500+ clients and businesses across Australia, the US, the UK, and Europe. Ashu joined Accountsly in 2021, and over time we have built a team of experienced accounting and finance professionals, including Chartered Accountants, CPAs, Certified Financial Planners, and professionals with senior finance and CFO experience.
Our experience extends beyond day-to-day accounting. We have supported businesses through fundraising, financing, loans, partnerships, and acquisitions, including work involving companies within the Sage Group and other large organizations. We have sat on both sides of transactions, supporting companies that were being acquired as well as companies making acquisitions, and have helped businesses prepare and evaluate financial information for important decisions.
Meet the Founders
Siddharth Arora
Chief Executive Officer & FounderSiddharth is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in commercial accounting roles, as an auditor, and as a financial advisor, including experience within a Big 4 firm. He has worked with clients across more than 30 countries, helping businesses of all sizes, from small companies to large corporate groups, with the financial decisions that matter. His focus is on helping business owners understand their numbers so they can save tax, improve cash flow, and run a more productive business.
Ashu Arora
Partner & DirectorAshu is a Registered Tax Agent, Chartered Accountant, and Certified Xero & QuickBooks Consultant who leads Accountsly's work with cloud accounting technology. She spent over four years with a Big 4 firm and has worked with large organizations, including BBC and Vodafone, as a Statutory Auditor. With more than ten years of experience implementing and advising on accounting systems, Ashu now specializes in helping small and medium businesses put time back in their day, with a particular focus on finding the right eCommerce tech stack.
